Photos from March #2

I won't reveal just how long I've had my set of four identical duvet covers (hint: far too long), so let's just say I've had them since I was in secondary school and am now nearly twenty. I've been browsing shops on and off for a while but hadn't been able to find what I wanted -- and, honestly, wasn't entirely sure what I wanted. Now, I'm not obsessed with florals, but I've always loved floral print bedding and I'd recently been browsing online when I picked out this lovely floral print duvet cover from Paccony. It's lightweight, 100% cotton, and has a really handy zip along the bottom (my old duvet covers have ties). The other side is a reddish pink chequered pattern. I absolutely love it!

As for the other bits shown in these photos, the white, quilted pillow case is an old one of my mum's, I'm not sure where it's originally from. I bought the floral pillow at a thrift shop a little while ago (with its original tags still attached, no less!). And the Union Jack pillowcase was a Christmas gift from a few years ago, from an Etsy shop, I believe.

  1. Lovely how the thrifted pillow matches with the duvet! (and of course, what a nice pattern)
